At the end of each year we all take stock of what has come and gone. As a digital media and communications professional, it is also a time to evaluate strategies, analytics, creative, headlines, and technology in attempts to learn quickly from the previous year’s fails and predict and capitalize on upcoming trends. When January hits, it is a mad dash to reenergize creativity, establish budgets and new goals, find inspiration for new campaigns, and implement new strategies. After reviewing the lessons from the previous year, I search for problems that need to be solved in my company, identify the things that my staff and I are excited about, and read, read, READ.
